3 Freeze Players Receive Divisional Awards

Defenseman Jared Bromberg, Justin Edwards and Toon De Schepper have been received divisional awards from the NA3HL.

Bromberg was just awarded 2nd-team, all-NA3HL honors yesterday and today has been named to the 2015-16 All-Central Division Team.  In 44 games this season he recorded 10 goals and 28 assists for a +/- of +18, all which are tied for or career bests for the 2nd-year defenseman from Rochester, MN.  Bromberg will begin his college hockey and academic career at Gustavus Alolphus College, an NCAA Division III hockey program in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC).

Edwards was awarded the 2015-16 Central Division Community Service Award.  Throughout the season Edwards assisted with mite practices and ringing bells for the Salvation Army, amongst other activities.  Edwards, who turns 21 on July 25th, will continue his hockey and academic career with St. Mary's University.  Like Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Mary's University is an NCAA Division III hockey program in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

De Schepper, native of Nieuwenrod, Belgium, has been awarded the 2015-16 Central Division Academic Achievement Award after a great academic year at La Crosse Central High School.  De Schepper is eligible to return to play with the Freeze next year; he appeared in 31 total games recording three assists.
