Bromberg Named 2nd Star In Central Division

It was another good homestand for the La Crosse Freeze on the ice this past weekend as they swept the Alexandria Blizzard 3-2 on Friday night and 4-1 on Saturday night.

Jared Bromberg, forward from Rochester, MN, was awarded the 2nd star in the Central division for his efforts in the two wins.  Bromberg had a quiet statline Friday night but stepped it up Saturday night, scoring one goal and assisting on two others, ending his night with a +2.

To join Bromberg in receiving accolades this past weekend was Cameron Pries, forward from Waterloo, IA.  Pries scored his first two goals in his junior hockey career Friday night and received a honorable mention.

The Freeze are back in action this Saturday in Chicago.  Puck drops at 5:30pm.
