Bromberg Named Runner-Up Defenseman of the Month; Trapp, Graves Named Honorable Mentions

This afternoon the NA3HL announced that Jared Bromberg Named Runner-Up Defenseman of the Month for the month of January.  Taylor Trapp and Will Graves named honorable mentions at forward and goalie, respectively.

Bromberg, native of Rochester, MN, was consistent throughout the whole month, evident by scoring in six of the nine games he competed in throughout the month.  He finished with four goals and nine assists for a +12 over the course of January.  His best series possibly came against the Chicago Jr. Bulldogs in which he scored two goals in one game and three assists the next.  Both occurances are the first time he's done so since the October series against the Jr. Bulldogs.

Trapp, native of West Salem, WI, was saved with a strong last weekend coming back to the Freeze after a couple months with the Coulee Region Chill in the NAHL.  He scored seven goals and three assists for the month, five of those goals coming in the final two games against the Minnesota Flying Aces.  The hat trick he scored in the 1/30 game was the first hat trick of his career, and the seven goals scored throughout the month was the most he ever scored in one month in his career.

Graves, native of Minneapolis, MN, finished the month by winning four games (two shutouts) and no losses.  The two shutouts were the only two thus far this season for Graves.  He also finished the month with a 1.72 goals-against-average.  Graves has a 9-2 record for a 1.9 GAA and .931 save percentage.
