Motloch's and Briley's hat tricks helped the Freeze crush the Bulldogs 12-0

Lukas Motloch and Tyler Briley led the way with hat tricks as the La Crosse Freeze crushed the Chicago Bulldogs 12-0 in a home game at Green Island Ice Arena in La Crosse. Connor Losen also had a big night with 4 points (0 goals, 4 assists). In addition, Will Graves posted a shutout, stopping all 20 of Chicago shots throughout the game. The La Crosse Freeze took the lead early in the first on a goal from Lukas Motloch and never looked back. Hunter Dolan chipped in with 2 goals and Donny Schultz did his part, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).
In the first, Motloch opened the scoring for the Freeze with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 2:15 with helpers from Sands and Schultz. Sands deposited a goal at 6:53 with assists from Goggin and Machusak. Briley quickly followed with a goal at 7:35 with helpers from his linemates, Toycen and Eykyn. Dolan quickly followed with a goal at 8:48 with an assist from defenseman Wolter. Motloch quickly followed with a goal at 10:01 with helpers from Losen and Lanz. Briley scored a goal at 13:01 with assists from his linemates, Eykyn and Toycen. Schultz quickly followed with a goal at 14:45 with helpers from Losen and Wolter.
During the second period, Schultz put in a goal at 17:12 with assists from his teammates Losen and Lanz.
In the third, Dolan netted a goal at 2:01 with helpers from Hazlett and Wolter. Marquardt quickly followed with a goal at 3:03 with assists from Goggin and Frerks. Briley deposited a goal at 6:50 with helpers from his linemates, Eykyn and Dabrowski. Motloch scored a goal at 15:04 with assists from Losen and Lanz.

The Freeze’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Graves’ shutout, as he stopped all 20 of the shots he faced. Graves’ counterpart, Lukasuks, also had a big night, managing to stop 8 of 13, but ultimately fell short.
