Alton quickly followed with a goal at 12:09 with helpers from his linemates, Burgener and Moore. Alfonso quickly followed with a goal at 12:34 with assists from Routheut and Harris.
During the second, De Schepper answered for La Crosse with a goal at 1:41. Lindauer netted a goal at 12:21 with an assist from fellow Freeze forward Seeger. Seeger quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:19 with a helper from his teammate Ratzloff. Duncan quickly followed with a goal at 16:13.
During the third period, Lindauer scored a goal at 13:26 with assists from Poellinger and De Schepper. Lackey put in a goal at 16:39 with a helper from his linemate Seeger.
La Crosse’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Lukehart as he stopped 10 of the 13 shots he faced. On the other hand, Lukehart’s counterpart, Baribeau, and Wausau’s defense had a rough outing allowing 7 goals in 25 shots.
