The Freeze struggled against the Bulls 6-2 in home game

The La Crosse Freeze struggled against the North Iowa Bulls allowing Dominic Skrelja to score a hat trick as La Crosse crushed the Bulls 6-2 in a home game at Green Island Ice Arena in La Crosse. In addition, the Freeze's defense had a poor night, allowing North Iowa 25 shots throughout the game. The North Iowa Bulls took the lead late in the second on a goal from Tyler Bump.

Cameron Fagerlee contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Dayton Honkanen did his part, adding 3 assists.

During the first, Beversdof opened the scoring for La Crosse with a goal at 17:31 with helpers from his linemates, Zukowski and Beversdorf. Fagerlee quickly followed with a goal at 18:24 with helpers from his linemates, Skrelja and Bump.

In the second, Timm deposited a goal at 0:32 with assists from his linemates, Larson and Verstegen. Poellinger answered for the Freeze with a goal at 7:25 with a helper from defenseman Caplis. Bump answered for North Iowa with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 15:28 with assists from his linemates, Fagerlee and Skrelja. Skrelja quickly followed with a goal at 16:25 with helpers from his teammates Honkanen and Bump.

During the third period, Skrelja scored a goal at 1:25 with assists from Bump and Honkanen. Skrelja deposited a goal at 6:55 with helpers from Honkanen and Bernhardson.

This loss brings the La Crosse Freeze’s record to (2-2-0-0).
