The Freeze struggled against the Bulls 7-2 in home game

The La Crosse Freeze's defense had a poor night, allowing the North Iowa Bulls 29 shots throughout the game. The North Iowa Bulls took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Tyler Bump and never looked back.

Alex Timm did his part, adding 3 assists.

During the first, Dolter opened the scoring for the Bulls with a goal at 4:17 with helpers from his linemates, Blackowiak and Sandvig. Studioso put in a goal at 7:23 with assists from his teammates Honkanen and Joyaux. Bump netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:48 with helpers from his linemates, Fagerlee and Swanson. Sandvig deposited a goal at 16:58 with assists from his linemates, Dahlseide and Timm.

In the second, Sandvig put in a goal at 8:37 with helpers from his linemates, Dahlseide and Timm. Dahlseide scored a goal at 12:35 with assists from his linemates, Sandvig and Timm.

In the third, Lindauer finally put the Freeze on the board with a goal at 2:05 with helpers from Lackey and De Schepper. Nuutinen netted a goal at 9:05 with assists from his linemates, Mccomb and Baron. Dahlseide answered for the Bulls with a goal at 15:25 with helpers from his linemates, Verstegen and Sandvig.

This loss brings the La Crosse Freeze’s record to (34-9-1-0).
