The Freeze struggled against the Bulls 9-1 in home game

The La Crosse Freeze struggled against the North Iowa Bulls allowing Tyler Bump to score a hat trick as La Crosse crushed the Bulls 9-1 in a home game at Green Island Ice Arena in La Crosse. The North Iowa Bulls took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Tyler Bump and never looked back.

Josh Arnold chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Brendan Studioso did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Joyaux opened the scoring for the Bulls with a goal at 2:48 with helpers from his teammates Bump and Kranz. Bump netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:40 with helpers from his linemates, Fagerlee and Skrelja. Verstegen quickly followed with a goal at 11:14 with an assist from Timm. Studioso quickly followed with a goal at 12:20 with assists from his linemates, Arnold and Dolter. Dolter quickly followed with a goal at 13:35.

In the second period, Francois finally put the Freeze on the board with a goal at 12:27 with helpers from his linemates, Seeger and Tilmon. Skrelja quickly followed with a goal at 14:22 with assists from his linemates, Fagerlee and Bump. Arnold scored a goal at 17:22 with helpers from his linemates, Dolter and Studioso. Bump deposited a goal at 19:31 with an assist from fellow Bulls forward Baron.

In the third period, Bump put in a goal at 9:41 with helpers from his linemates, Fagerlee and Skrelja.

This loss brings the La Crosse Freeze’s record to (2-3-0-0).
