Wolter Named 2nd Star of the Week; Schuetzle Honorable Mention

Matt Wolter was named 2nd Star of the Week and Jerame Schuetzle was named an honorable mention by the NA3HL.

Wolter, forward from Antigo, WI, kicked the new year off with a fast start against the Rochest Ice Hawks on New Years Day.  The former North Dakota State University football player, playing in his first year of Junior hockey, scored once and assisted on two more goals in the 7-1 win.  Wolter now has four goals and six assists in 21 games played this season.

Schuetzle, forward from Buffalo, MN, also helped put together an impressive win to start the year 2016 by putting two goals in net and assisting on another.  Fresh off of an honorable mention for the month of December in the NA3HL, Schuetzle now has eight goals and nine assists on the season, seven goals and eight assists coming in a La Crosse Freeze uniform.

They'll be back this weekend at the Green Island Ice Arena as they are scheduled to face the Wisconsin Whalers on Saturday at 3pm and the Ice Hawks on Sunday at 2pm.  To snag yourself a free ticket make your way on out to the Coulee Region Chill game Friday and/or Saturday night!
