Jerame Schuetzle, Hunter Breza and Will Graves were named honorable mentions by the NA3HL for the month of December.
Schuetzle, forward from Buffalo, MN, was just one of the many that helped lead the Freeze to a 4-1 record through the month of December. He received at least one point in four of five games throughout the month including two assists in the December 5th matchup against the Rochester Ice Hawks. He finished the month with one goal and four assists to his name with a +2 +/-.
Breza, a defenseman from Minnetrista, MN, recovered from a dry spell on December 4th in which he hadn't scored any points since exactly two months earlier in an October 4th game against the Chicago Jr. Bulldogs. In the first series of the month against Rochester, Breza contributed a goal on the 4th and an assist on the 5th. He carried that momentum into the first game of the NA3HL Showcase, assisting on two goals in the 4-2 win against the Evansville Thunderbolts. Breza finished with one goal and three assists for the month.
Graves, goalie from Minneapolis, MN, got some extra ice time in December with teammate Andrew Wagner getting called up to the Coulee Region Chill in the NAHL. He took advantage of it and picked up two wins throughout the month including one on the 4th against Rochester and on the 17th at the NA3HL Shocase against Evansville, stopping 42/46 total shots through the two games. He's now 5-2 on the season with a 2.01 GAA and .934 save percentage.
