The Freeze struggled against the Bulls 5-2 in home game

The La Crosse Freeze struggled against the North Iowa Bulls allowing Tyler Bump to score a hat trick as La Crosse crushed the Bulls 5-2 in a home game at North Iowa Arena in La Crosse. What's more, Andrew Wagner came up big, stopping 26 of 30 shots throughout the game. The North Iowa Bulls took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Mitch Parsons and never looked back.

Josh Arnold had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 assists and Braxton Collins contributed with 3 assists.

During the first, Bump opened the scoring for the Bulls with a goal at 5:30 with helpers from his linemates, Collins and Arnold. Studioso put in a goal at 8:33 with helpers from his linemates, Dolter and Sekesi. Parsons quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:37 with assists from his linemates, Barnes and Larson. Bump deposited a goal at 13:57 with helpers from his teammates Collins and Honkanen.

In the second period, Marquardt finally put the Freeze on the board with a goal at 16:49 with assists from Dabrowski and Toycen.

In the third, Dolan netted a goal at 15:50 with a helper from defenseman Lanz. Bump answered for North Iowa with a goal at 19:20 with assists from his linemates, Arnold and Collins.
